The game now looks so much better for it. In 2018 they released images and videos of a completely reworked art-style giving the game a more realistic look yet still keeping to a pixel-art style. This wasn’t good enough for DonXuglo Games though, oh no. The original art-style was simple colourful cutesy pixel-art but definitely good enough to go with. I’ve been watching Knight of Exile for a while now as it’s been in development for a few years and it just keeps getting better.
